One of Obama's most contoversial appointees, Van Jones, admits on camera that much of the green movement is pretense -- tricking the public into supporting "cap and trade" through pretending it is necessary. He does this believing that "green" energy is the answer and that "the dirty stuff," which is coal and petroleum must be forced into bankruptcy. However, his position is based on the flawed science that global warming is caused by coal and petroleum -- and an assumption that there are viable "green" alternatives. This comes just as billionaire T. Boone Pickens has announced he's pulling out of wind energy -- that windmill farms cannot generate the electricity that America needs.
So, Van Jones here is teaching college kids that we must lie and pretend to save the planet from fossil fuels (which science now disputes) and to give "green" energy a chance -- although investors are fleeing from unproven "green" energy fads which are not ready to replace fossil fuels.
